We were inspired by the movie Hidden Figures to create a whole team of space-exploring superheroes! Hyperbola here was inspired by Katherine Johnson in particular... This character is a speedster, like the Flash, but with an array of orbiting mini-bodies for which she must constantly calculate changing flight-paths, to pull her in the direction she wishes to go.
And today is Katherine Johnson's 100th birthday! Here's hoping she has a great one, and many happy returns!
